Installation & Service Technician

Job Summary:

Digital Vision Security is seeking a service technician. Experience installing Video Surveillance, Access Control, Burglary systems & networking an asset. Must be diligent and hardworking & able to deal with customers. Must have a clean drivers abstract, and a criminal record check.

Responsibilities Include:

• Installation of cabling and conduit, and security system components
• Troubleshoot security systems, computers, software, and networks
• Ability to work in a team environment for large projects
• Provide system training and ongoing support to customers

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience with security systems or networks
• Professional and energetic personality with the ability to deal with different people
• Knowledge in basic electrical systems and low voltage electronics
• Knowledge of video surveillance, access control, burglary systems an asset
• Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms
• Safety training, WHMIS, and Scissor lift training an asset
